About

Never sung with a choir before, or maybe it’s been a while? Don’t think you can sing? No problem—everyone is welcome and no auditions are required. It’s all about having enjoying ourselves while learning new songs, singing in a group, and a shared experience.

What we sing

We sing an eclectic mix of songs,  learning new numbers every couple of weeks. This keeps us on our toes and makes it easy for newcomers to join at any time in the term block.  We always start with vocal warm-ups.

Our repertoire generally includes gospel, folk, classic pop songs and the occasional sea shanty, arranged as either two or three-part harmonies.

Our choir leader

This year we are welcoming Elliot Rentoul as our new choir leader.

Who can join this choir?

Anyone. This Brisbane community choir is for everyone and anyone who wants to sing as part of a group. We come from across Brisbane, and the greater Brisbane / South East Queensland region, having fun. Every voice is important helping to create a choir with its own distinct sound.
