Events in 2024
Friday 2 February First night of term. We kicked off the year with a free night of singing at the Salisbury Community Sports Club.
25 April ANZAC Day service. We were privileged to again be invited to sing at both the dawn and morning ANZAC Day services – Salisbury RSL Memorial Park, Industries Road, Salisbury.
14 November Recording studio. We recorded a couple of original Christmas songs at Hunting Ground Studios, Moorooka.
28 November : ABC Brisbane Radio Christmas concert saw us ‘Deck the Halls with Rebecca Levingston’, along with the Rivercity Steel Band.
30 November: Summertime with a touch of tinsel – end of year concert where we once again collaborated with the Rivercity Steel Band at our Christmas concert, ‘Summertime with a touch of tinsel’. We celebrated singing, good times, and a brand new song, “Christmas in Australia” with lyrics by our very own Lloyd Statham, and music by our Choir Director Jaqueline Larsen.
3It was also an opportunity to help others, with funds raised by our annual raffle going to Zephyr Education Inc to help children in need with education resources.
